Welcome to  A Beacon of Light; a charity dedicated to providing aid and care to street children around the world. Our goal is to secure for them the means to a safer, healthier future. Currently, there are an estimated 100 million street children, many of whom are deprived of clean water, hygienic food, medical care and education. Children living on the streets are susceptible to rape, enslavement, drug addiction and solitude. Criminality is but a corollary of desperation and rejection from society. Much of this is preventable, yet there is not enough being done. Our aim, with the establishment of this organisation, is to add impetus to the process of change through voluntary aid work and individual contributions.
